Version 4.26.1 Release Notes
Release Date: 9/26/2017
Version: 4.26.1
Android Application Update:
Please note: If your agency uses Mobile Work Orders or Mobile Inspections, this update makes changes that affect the connectivity and ability of your current Android devices to sync to the system for these mobile apps. We have also enhanced these apps with additional security options (Case: HOP-3086).
After your agency has received this update, your IT staff will need to uninstall the existing Android Work Order application and Inspection application from any devices using them and then download and reinstall the new versions from the Google Play Store to those devices.
Your IT staff can use the following job aids to uninstall and reinstall these apps and to learn about the new security options:
●
Enhanced the Mobile Work Orders user interface to make it easier to select Work Codes. Case: HOP-3159 |
●
Added a search box to the Job Code Lookup screen in Mobile Work Orders. Case: HOP-3176 |
●
Enhanced Mobile Work Orders, for the two dialogs that prompt the user to save changes, so that both now use a "Yes" response to save changes. (Previously, the two dialogs were inconsistent, with one requiring a "Yes" and the other requiring a "No" in order to save changes.) Case: HOP-3177 |
●
Enhanced Mobile Work Order's authorization to enter ("Auth to Enter") flag on the Tenant tab, so that "no" now has bold red text and "yes" has bold green text and a green checkmark. Case: HOP-3178 |
●
Fixed an issue where Work Codes would be removed from incomplete work orders on the mobile device after syncing. This change also includes a new WorkCode policy on the Tenmast Policy Setup screen, so your agency can choose whether Work Codes are shown or hidden by default. Case: HOP-3161 |
●
Enhanced Work Order Causes by removing them from Labor records and attaching them instead to work order Job records. With this enhancement, we have also added the WO Mobile Status column to the Work Order Cause Setup screen and removed the Handheld Status column from the Work Order Status Setup screen. Case: HOP-3151 |
●
Enhanced Mobile Work Orders so that the Android's Back button now functions the same as the Go Back button within the mobile app. (This prevents an issue where you could lose unsaved work when using the Android's Back button.) Case: HOP-3146 |
●
Fixed an issue where receiving a call or other interruption on the device could cause the user to be logged out of Mobile Work Orders and lose any unsaved work. Case: HOP-3142 |
●
Fixed an issue when selecting the Back button on an in-process work order, where the app would exit the work order and lose all changes, even if the user, when prompted, answered not to do that. Case: HOP-3152 |
●
Fixed an issue when syncing Mobile Work Orders, if Consumable Inventory items were included, where the sync failed to enter the Development and Unit Number on the Consumable Inventory transaction records. Case: HOP-2997 |
●
Fixed an issue when syncing Mobile Work Orders, if Flat Time labor was included, where the sync failed to enter the date on the labor records. Case: HOP-3003 |
●
Fixed an issue when syncing Mobile Work Orders, for any new work orders created using the mobile app, where the sync would incorrectly create blank work order notes for the new work orders. Case: HOP-3143 |
●
Fixed an issue where the Requested and Started dates would be incorrect if you saved an incomplete work order on the mobile app and finished it on a later date. Case: HOP-3136 |
●
Fixed an issue where the scroll bar was missing from the list of Work Codes on the Remedy tab of Mobile Work Orders. Case: HOP-3157 |
Other New Features or Enhancements:
●
Added the Household ID field from the Certification table to the "HUD-50058 Data" data source. Case: HOP-3156 |
●
Updated the Fair Market Rent tables for 2018, based on values published by HUD. Fair Market Rents for 2018 become effective 10/1/2017. Case: PD-46 |
●
Enhanced the Certification screen, when selecting Document Requests from the Actions menu, with an improved user message when no Web User account is found for the household. (Previously, this situation would cause a generic exception error.) Case: HOP-3138 |
Other Updates:
●
Fixed an issue on the Work Order Search screen, when viewing other open work orders for the same unit: after the user clicked View to open another work order, the Work Order screen could take 20 seconds or longer to open. Case: HOP-3181 |
●
Fixed an issue when printing form HUD-50059 for an in-process Move-In certification, where the Name of Project would be blank. Case: HOP-3117 |
●
Fixed an issue with the Applications by Waiting List - Change Log data source, where the Income Level and Total Annual Income were sometimes calculated incorrectly. Case: HOP-3097 |
